Hi. I am Ricky, and I am a photo addict. Yes, there is no known cure and my affliction is so acute, I occasionally would like to pack in my boring IT job and take this up full-time. Luckily, I do not suffer from delusions and realise that I still need to eat, and pay the house off, so it may be a long, long time until that happens.

My ambition though, is to be half as good as the photographers I have on my watchlist. They are on the list for a reason ... raw talent. My inspiration.

A little about me ...

My interest in photography started when my father gave me his old Zenit SLR when I was 15 years old.

I particularly enjoy Nature Photography, but also get a kick out of trying new and exciting things with my hobby. Waterscapes and Birds account for a large number of my deviations, a reflection on how my local environment has inspired me to capture the beauty that surrounds me everyday.

Being a computer geek , I also enjoy creating digital images using a variety of methods. Mainly using Photoshop, but also 3D graphics applications such as Poser and Bryce.
